Application Guidelines
for Tarmac Repair & Restorer
Apply Tarmac Restorer to a clean, dry tarmac surface with temperatures above 10 degrees with no rain is forecast for at least 3 hours after the application of Driveway Magic has finished.
For best results, it is advisable to use a long-handled Soft Brush with a medium pile head. A paintbrush can be used for borders or hard to get to areas, but generally, a Brush or Roller is Good
Two coats of Driveway Magic are recommended. Average coverage ratios are 40-60sq.* metres per 20 Litre drum (60 sq. metres if the tarmac is in good condition but has lost colour and faded over time; 40 sq. metres for poorer quality tarmac surfaces).
Prior to commencing application, thoroughly shake the container. and so there is non settled at the bottom of the container.
Leave 2-4 hours between coats and shake the container each time before pouring into a Bucket or large Conatiner
Areas adjacent flower beds or lawns should be masked off to avoid unwanted coverage.
After application, keep vehicles off for 6 hours and foot traffic for 1-2 hours.
Maintenance Guidelines for Driveway Magic
Any ongoing maintenance should be restricted to a gentle sweep and a washdown once or twice a year.
Driveway Magic itself is a very durable product, but as with any other external product, it will require re-application from time to time. For Tarmac Driveways that receive an average amount of traffic, a top-up coat of Driveway Magic is recommended, on average, every 1-2 years.
